Reading Reward @ Club Libby Lu

The kids did such a good job with reading this summer they got great rewards. they learned lots, heard incredible stories, set goals and was greatly rewarded by it all. Grandpa Knight helped with the reward at Club Libby Lu for the girls. KC's reward is going to go play with dad and race go carts and the sort, but he will have to wait for the weather to cool down.

Joshlynn had a rough start to reading this summer, but once we got the glasses she zoomed right back into reading 4 books a week. She learned how to use her library card and how to ask a librarian for help. She looked up topics and found the books. She loves Junnie B. Jones First Grader and she loves to read to her sisters.

Joshlynn chose to do the move over Cinderella style and a kitten that she named Sparkle.

Zoe loved the trips to the library and the songs that were done in the story time program. She loves to look at books but not so much to listen to the story. she Loves to pick out books and tries to Carry them all.

Zoe chose the trend setter and fits it very well. She sat very still and had lots of viewers wanting to know how old she was. she chose a Chihuahua it picked out a shirt and bag that matched all on her own.

Jami's favorite books are Rain makes applesauce and Daddy Mountain. She is starting to figure out that the words on the pages tell the story and recognizes some of the small words such as to, go, up and the.

Jami chose the Rock princess style. she too got a pooch but seemed more interested in her style at the moment.

Samantha could not ever have enough books if you ask her. she would pile them up on the table and spend her entire library time choosing what books to check out. she always rushed through her crafts at story time and never had enough time for the computer because she was excited about all of the books. She doesn't have favorites but she loves reading.

Samantha chose the rock princess as well and a pooch, but I think that she was so overwhelmed by the experience that she just watched what was done.
